2005 Rhino for sale.

AZ taxes paid.

Registration is expired and is "non-use" status with DMV.

Great project-car for a race-build.

Car w/ original parts and motor as-is including spare front and rear diffs $7500.

Motor is out of car and top-end is off for evaluation...motor is in usable condition but ready for a crank-up build.

Car is in generally in good shape. All stock. All oem parts available. Needs some minor work, battery, and reassembly.

Faded green plastics (paint-able). Base wheels/tires.

Choice of SE-gray or standard-black seats.

Elka shocks, Virgin Blue plastics, One Industries graphics kit for blue rhino plastics (not installed), New SE wheels with OEM Maxxis rear tires all around, K&N air filter and Alba, KMS, HMF dual exhausts all optional with car or sold seperately.

Complete Car with all oem stuff w/o motor.... $4500

Car with motor... $7k

Car with motor and spare diffs ... $7.5k

Add Elkas (used...they need front springs and maybe re-spring and re-valve for specific application) ... $8K

These Elkas have...

Rear...remote res, ext comp, ext rbnd

Fronts...piggy-back res, ext comp.

Add blue pastics (come with graphics still in package...not yet applied)... $8.25K

Add SE Wheels and Tires $8.5K

Weller Racing will build motor to suit...Jason Weller can quote any motor work.

For not much more than the price of a new car you can have a brand new custom crank-up built-motor, Elka shocks, spare diffs, and brand new blue plastics...perfect for anyone wanting the most bang-for-the-buck intending to race an MTS rhino...all you would need is a cage and mts kit w/o shocks...or just build a low-cost, kick-ass rhino.

Greg at Lone Star Racing can tell you what to expect from these shocks with his MTS kit ...

I will not sell the motor, diffs, plastics, Elkas, exhausts, bed etc. unless the car is already sold.

No sale.

Price has gone up as I have already paid to have the motor completely torn down and the head has been ported...

I will sell it as is for $6000 w/o the head and no new motor parts...

Crank still hasn't been balanced...If I do it I'll have to get that money back too...

Thanks for the reply. But it seems to be tip toeing closer to the price of a new one.

I think I'll wait and see what the 08's are and then the 07's will come down.

Thanks again,

Cory

No problem Cory.

It definetely is about the same price as a new one when it is all said and done...

The difference being used car...w/ a brand new crank-up built motor...vs brand new car and stock motor...for roughly the same price...

Personally, If I have control over who does the build and how it's built...I choose the used car with built motor over new stocker every time...but, that is just me...

Anybody just needing a motor and diffs and not a complete car is better off buying a used grizzly and tossing the bike...

This is a fair deal for anyone who needs the whole car and is gonna build a mod 2 racer...

I would love to sell the car w/o the motor but I know it ain't gonna happen...

BTW, I believe that was your 800cc racer I saw at Jason's....

I don't know what words I could use to describe that son of a gun that would not be a major understatement...all I can saw is...

HOLY COW, BATMAN !!!

For anyone who is interested...

The motor is completely apart...the crank has already been balanced for a stock length Carillo rod and stock offset CP 102mm 11:1 piston

The head has been ported by Racer's Edge for 102 mm with +1mm Valves and dual springs...Hotcams stg 2 cam...

Head, piston, valves are all being coated with ceramic thermal barrier coatings and piston skirt is getting lubrication coatings...http://wellerracing.mywowbb.com/forum13/20.html

The cylinder has been bored for the 102mm CP 11:1 piston...

This motor is all set to go back together as a 686 with the highest quality high-performance components available...

If someone wanted to make it a 720 or 760 stroker it could still be done at minimal increase in costs...there is still some time as the rod is out for coatings...so crank does not go back together before that...

I have a stock sheave for it and a modified sheave...take your pick either or neither if you want a pdm race clutch...no need to pay for a sheave...

Buy what you want...leave the rest...car still has to be sold prior to me letting go of motor/diffs...

Perfect set-up for a race rhino build...IMO of course...:D

Thanks for you interest...

Sounds like a very reasonable offer...

I will absolutely consider it...

I see you are in CA...

Should I assume you would come and get it...
